CHALLENGE・Cresco Labs aimed to transform an established and affordable cannabis brand into a luxury brand for experienced consumers. This shift in strategy required FloraCal to bridge a crucial industry gap while preserving consumer trust, despite the brand's transition to corporate ownership.
SOLUTION・We rebranded FloraCal by strategically targeting the “sophisticated stoner” through our messaging and creative direction, staying true to the essence of FloraCal’s heritage, establishing a compelling narrative around the brand demonstrating FloraCal’s commitment to craft quality and authenticity.
RESULTS・FloraCal successfully launched in Illinois, selling out of product at multiple dispensaries. They have expanded into Michigan and Florida markets and launched an edibles line. The brand gained a devoted following and is now a prominent topic on social platforms within the cannabis community.
