CHALLENGE・Ric Flair Drip faced the complex task of evolving into a cohesive, strategically directed brand. With a prior lack of unified creative direction, it was imperative to navigate a course that would provide the brand with a clear, consistent identity to guide its growth and expansion.
SOLUTION・I identified an opportunity to build a more focused and distinct brand direction. The brand previously featured a blend of retro wrestling graphics and "tastefully tacky" elements inspired by Ric Flair, which competed. To align with the brand's objectives, I emphasized the Ric Flair-inspired aesthetics while maintaining a balance with retro wrestling elements. This strategic approach was documented in comprehensive brand guidelines.
RESULTS・The refinement of Ric Flair Drip's creative direction has yielded positive outcomes. The brand now presents a more cohesive and unified visual identity that’s true to Ric Flair and his unique style, legacy, and pop culture influence. This balance has enhanced the brand's resonance with its audience and ensures a consistent and compelling brand image.
